A Little Set Back......

 I have been busy     last week I started radiation and chemo together .....There was Grandparents day a my grand daughters ( Emma) school ......I am so blessed I found a wig ......It helps with grandbabies and self esteem......LADIES''''''''' YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SHAVE WHILE DOING TREATMENTS ,,,,,,,HAIR DOES NOT GROW.............GOOD AND BAD WITH CHEMO    

HAD A FILL IN NURSE LAST WEEK AND SUPER KNOWLEDGEABLE  

FROM SYRIA (INTERESTING TAKE ON LIFE)  ENJOY IT ........

GAVE MY TENNIS PARTNER/BESTIE A 60TH BDAY PARTY

MARTHA HANNA.     WITH A BROKE RIB.....FELL ON SOME FLOORING AN BROKE A RIB 

VERY VERY PAINFUL BUT BETTER NOW .......THE PARTY AND OUR FRIENDS REALLY SHOWED UP........

I AM VERY VERY BLESSED MY BOYFRIEND BRUCE IS STILL HELPING ME OUT WEEKLY WITH CHEMO AND DRY ICE....AND ALL THE PRAYERS.....

Till Oct 18th then a break  then surgery in the middle of december.

I give my BOO time off......big bass in tournament. lol.

 I had my P E T scan last Friday AND    PRAYERS WORKED !!!!!!!!!!!

I HAD A 35% REDUCTION IN TUMOR AND LYMPH NODES GONE ........ON TO RADIATION.....

                                   GOD IS SO GOOD ........THANK YOU EVERYONE.

week off / body change

My crazy little brother (Craig )sends me this and  "I love it"

THose are his dogs....Cancer does sucks but you if you gotta do it do it with a SMILE and THANKFULNESS...I thought i never would feel this way but I do...God caught it early....I get a chance.

Had my P E T scan friday so many many prayers there was some change ....see dr on monday and results..

I have really reflected on the point that I was in major top shape having played on 3 tennis teams and now ZERO tennis,pickleball,walking,etc are gone ...Loss of hair......seeing my tennis friends, weekends of tournaments,marathon mall shopping,etc.....BUT NOW life goes on and you appreciate walking out the door,getting the mail,answering a call,walking the dog, eating,laughing,not crying, seeing family.feeling the rain,sitting beside my boo and watching lightening, Martha and I eating breakfast at church,etc 

I am ALIVE and will be better after CANCER 

I am overwhelmed at the love shown to me 

thank you from the bottom of my heart ........

This has been a week of looking at the bright side of CANCER....I do not have to shave my legs or underarms....My face feels like a baby's bottom ......All my skin is reborn....
